Set of twenty-five political artists’ postcards published in in the late 1970s by Centre Argentin d’Information et Solidarité (CAIS), a political organization in France, to help raise funds for human rights in Argentina. With contributions by V. Vasarely, Cruz Diez, M. Hernandez, Cueco, J. Le Parc, H. Weiss, Matieu, Merri Jolivet, Perez Roman, A. Marcos, G. Netto, B. Lindström, Gamarra, Balmes, Cristina Martinez, Piza, E. Peyceré, H. Demarco, E. Pignon Ernest, G. Barrios, G. Fromanger, J. Varnasky, Yvaral, V. Villalba, and G. Aillaud. The verso of each postcard bears two versions of the CAIS logo and the artist’s name, but are otherwise blank. Our research indicates this set to be complete given the same twenty-five motifs were also issued as a poster around the same time.
