Torino: Edizione Geiger, 1975. No binding. First edition of 400 of which this is no. 263. Seven 24 x 20.5 cm (9.45 x 8.1") leaves, six of which are white card stock and one sheet of translucent vellum, all printed in black on rectos with one card stock plate blind embossed. Housed inside a three-panel portfolio printed in dark gray on recto and verso. Parallel text in Italian and English.

Artists’ book by Annalisa Alloatti featuring a series of five plates, four of which are titled ‘music,’ ‘color,’ ‘light,’ and ‘blindness’ with photographed words in braille rendering them unreadable. Alongside these four is a fifth leaf titled ‘poetry’ which is blind embossed in braille, hence rendering it readable. Portfolio with scattered foxing along left, upper, and lower margins, with rubbing, a gentle diagonal fold line to the closing flap, and two shallow closed tears along one of the lower fold lines. Leaves with scattered foxing to title leaf, verso of last leaf, and vellum leaf. Else very good.
