Silkscreened poster designed by Dóra Maurer, issued on the occasion of the second of three showings of the traveling exhibition ‘szövegek/texts,’ the first international exhibition of visual and concrete poetry in Hungary. The first showing, organized by Dóra Maurer and Gábor Tóth, was held August 19–25, 1973, at György Galántai’s Chapel Studio in Balatonboglár and featured a similar yet distinct poster design. This second showing, organized by Dóra Maurer, was held December 9–28, 1973, at the Pécsi Muhely (Pécs Workshop). The third and largest showing, organized by Dóra Maurer, Gábor Tóth, and László Beke, was held in April 1974 at the Fiatal Müvészek Klubja (Young Artists’ Club) in Budapest under the title ‘KÉP/VERS (VISUAL/POEM).’ Participating artists in this second showing included Imre Bak, László Beke, Attila Csernik, Felipe Ehrenberg, Miklós Erdély, Dániel Erdély, Klaus Groh, Sigurdur Gudmundsson, J. H. Kocman, János Major, David Mayor, Giulia Niccolai, Clemente Padín, Géza Perneczky, G. J. de Rook, Bálint Szombathy, Tamás Szentjóby, Miroljub Todorovic, Endre Tót, Timm Ulrichs, Jirí Valoch, and Ben Vautier, among others.
