Exhibition catalog issued on the occasion of the 1966 concrete poetry exhibition ‘OBRAZ A PÍSMO,’ held at Muzea v Kolíne outside of Prague. Includes two in-depth essays by Jirí Padrta and Zdenek Felix, and additional texts by Franz Mon, Umbro Apollonio, and Helmut Heissenbüttel. Illustrated throughout with visual and concrete poetry compiled by Jirí Kolár, showcasing works by Vera Varilová, Josef Hirsal, Jirí Valoch, Bohumila Grögerová, Emil Julis, Vladimir Burda, Ladislav Novák, Zdenek Barborka, Jind ich Procházka, Ladislav Nebeský, Jirí Honys, and Kolár. The laid-in checklist outlines works by participating artists, some dating back to 1960. The catalog was designed by Jan Kubícek.

Covers with rubbing and trace amounts of age toning, including a small stain at lower right tip, faint scattered foxing at title page from the laid-in sheet, and rust to staples. Sheet with heavy age toning on account of the high-acidity paper, handling creases, and a few closed tears along margins. Very good.
