Color-cover variant of one of Andy Warhol’s more comprehensive catalogs, reproducing early work from 1960–1964. Published for the traveling exhibition at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, with two color serigraph portraits on the front and rear wrappers, respectively, in place of the more common black-and-white cover. Includes essays by Jonas Mekas and Calvin Tompkins, a bibliography, a filmography, and an exhibition chronology. The Dutch supplement includes a translation of Coplans’ essay and an exhibition checklist.
