THIRTY SIGNALIST POEMS – TRIDESET SIGNALISTICKIH PESAMA
Beograd: Institutu Ekonomiskih Nauka, 1973. Small square 8vo bound in a white plastic coil in yellow wrappers printed in black. Pages printed in black at rectos on white stock. 32 + 4 pp. Parallel text in Serbo-Croatian and English.
Artists’ book of Signalist concrete poems by Olga Vicic and Miroljub Todorovic, with each poem structured around the repeated use of a different single character. Includes a cipher on the penultimate page explaining the meaning of each character. A generous gesture given the poems’ minimalist means.
Artifact Vibration Score: 8.3.
Trace amounts of age toning throughout, including wear, creasing, and light soiling to covers, and brittle plastic comb binding with several cracked and broken teeth, resulting in loss, yet still holding. Else very good. Item 1311.
