The second and third issues of the experimental journal ‘SIGNAL: International Review for Signalist Research,’ issued here as a double number, edited by Miroljub Todorovic, reflecting the movement he founded in the late 1950s with the intention of revolutionizing language and poetry through new expressions and media, including the use of science and advanced technologies.

Illustrated throughout with experimental, visual, and concrete poetry by Marina Abramovic, Jean-François Bory, Augusto de Campos, Ugo Carrega, Hans Clavin, Bob Cobbing, Herman Damen, Guillermo Deisler, Peter Finch, John Furnival, Robert Joseph, Maurizio Nannucci, G. J. de Rook, Paul De Vree, and Ivo Vroom, among several others. Just as in ‘SIGNAL’ no. 1, this issue features visual poems by Abramovic, an expression not often seen in her oeuvre. Includes a chapter on related avant-garde movements and publications issued around the same time, including books, magazines, posters, and exhibition catalogs, forming an indispensable bibliography.

Issues nos. 1–9 were published between 1970 and 1973, followed by twelve more in the 1990s.
