BODY WORKERS – DIE INFORMATION ZUM KALENDER 1975

Stuttgart: Reflection Press, n.d. [1974]. Saddle-stapled 8vo in thin pink self-wrappers printed in black. Pages printed in black on white paper, with four pages left blank. Unpaginated [8 pp. plus covers]. Text in German.

Artists’ book by Fluxus artist Albrecht/d., presenting a series of appropriated photographic collages of nude figures exploring the body, gender, sexuality, and voyeurism.

Issued as ‘Reflection Press no. 27b’, an explanatory booklet accompanying a 1975 wall calendar. One confirmed example of the calendar was screen printed in three colors over John Furnival’s concrete poetry poster ‘In the Beginning Was the Word,’ incorporating several of the same motifs from the book alongside monthly calendar grids.

Artifact Vibration Score: 8.1.

Trace amounts of handling creases along margins and gentle diagonal fold lines at lower right corner affecting all pages on account of the thin paper. Else near fine. Item 1336.

Price: $100.00
