Syracuse, NY: Everson Museum of Art, 1971. First edition. Unbound folio 22 x 16.5" in size (folded) printed in black and white. Unpaginated (12 pp.)
An oversized catalog in the form of an artists’ book published on the occasion of Ono’s exhibition at the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, NY, October 9 – 27, 1971 which was a retrospective of Ono’s work to date. The Fluxus-inspired catalog design is credited to John Lennon and Peter Bendry, and although not listed, George Maciunas’ influence is clearly evident who also was instrumental in the design of the show and related publications, including the poster which has the same design as the catalog cover.
Few handling creases on account of its size and trace amounts of age toning, else fine. Item #145
