Each artist is presented in their own chapter with bios and examples of their artwork. Some of the notable sections include Bernhard and Hilla Becher’s serial photographs of houses, Ger Dekkers’ serial photographs of trees and forests, Annette Messager’s ‘The voluntary torture’ and ‘My everyday gestures’, Edward Ruscha’s stills from the movie ‘Miracle’, and Katharina Sieverding’s full-page self-portraits.

A handsome and eloquent catalog designed by the Swedish designers John Melin and Gösta Svensson who both also designed Andy Warhol’s ‘Stockholm Catalogue’.
