A handsome art catalog published on the occasion of Kienholz’ solo exhibition at Moderna Museet in Stockholm which ran January 17 – March 1, 1970 featuring twelve of his Tableaux. Each of them has a fold-out with detailed descriptions outlining the objects contained within each of the assemblages followed by several full-page detail images in black and white. Complete with a biography of the artist and edited by Katja Waldén and K. G. P. Hultén, who also designed the catalog together with Gösta Svensson. The same exhibition subsequently traveled from Stockholm to Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Paris, and London.
Very good with trace amounts of rubbing to covers and wear to extremities, bumps to corners, and light age toning throughout. Item #219
