Strasbourg: (Association Fédérative Générale des Étudiants de Strasbourg), 1966. Folded tabloid in self-wrappers printed in black and white. 4 pp. Text in French.
A large four-page Situationist comic created by Bertrand that was printed with institutional funds and given away during a student protest at Strasbourg University October, 1966. Named after the Spanish anarchist Buenaventura Durruti, it features photographs, cartoons, writings, and the iconic image of the two drifter cowboys on horses which later appeared in other publications. A rare and important document as it relates to Situationism and the subsequent protests of May 1968.
Trace amounts of handling creases, bumps to corners, and age toning, else near fine. Item #228
