Dorothy Iannone paintings at The Stryke Gallery, 1965
New York: The Stryke Gallery, 1965. 25.75 x 21.25" (65 x 54.5 cm) poster printed on stiff paper on recto side only, with five signatures on verso.
An elaborate and early exhibition poster by Iannone that combines her writing with figurative and abstract illustrations around two elegant double-exposed portraits of the artist with exhibition details right above portraits. The show was held at The Stryke Gallery, which Iannone ran together with her husband James Upham from 1963 to 1967. Signed on verso by five individuals.
Wear and chipping along margins including two 0.4" (1 cm) closed tears, a strong vertical crease line at middle, a 1.5" (4 cm) section missing at top left corner which has been repaired with a black piece of paper pasted to verso, and age toning to sheet. Thus a good only example. Item #232
