Woodchester Gloucestershire, England: Openings Press, 1965. Single sheet 20.3 x 26 cm (8 x 10.25") in size, printed in black and blue ink on recto side only on thin card stock. Inscribed and signed by the publisher on verso.

The first issue of the Plakat broadside series from Openings Press in Woodchester Gloucestershire, founded by John Furnival and Dom Sylvester Houédard in 1964, featuring one of Houédards’s typestracts first published in OU a year earlier.

Inscribed in ink on verso by Furnival to American poet and frequent collaborator Jonathan Williams, which reads:

‘Dear Jonathan,

if you are in England (are you in England?) how about a few days in the Cotteswoldes? We can put you up if you like.

Trace amounts of foxing along extremities and some soiling, bumps to corners, and three faint handling creases along bottom, else very good. Item #308
