Paris: Yvon Lambert, 1981. 11 x 15,5 cm (4.375 x 6.125") sheet of semi-translucent vellum offset printed on recto and verso.
A minimalistic iconic example of Barry’s sparse graphic language juxtaposing a tree with branches and roots on the recto, and lowercase Univers typography along each of the four corners on the verso. The printing on each side of the semi-translucent vellum ingeniously reverses the text or the tree, depending on which side is read first.
Vellum slightly yellowed with age and two crease marks along one of the edges, else fine. Item #47
