Lohse, Lanfranco Bombelli, Gérard Ifert, Hansjörg Mattmüller, Mary Vieira, and Gerstner himself among others. With an introductory essay documenting the history and traditions of past artists in the field, including George Braque, Picasso, Theo van Doesburg, Bart van der Leck, Piet Mondrian, Kasimir Malevitch, El Lissitzky, Georges Vantongerloo, Josef Albers, Sophie Täuber, and Hans Arp. Issued as ‘ad rem 1’, with book design by Gerstner, and published by Verlag Arthur Niggli, who still publish elaborate typography, design, and architecture books today.

Very good with trace amounts of wear along extremities, two faint scratches to front cover, light bumps to corners, and trace amounts of age toning. Item #480
