Catalog designed to be read sideways documenting Ruscha’s 1976 exhibit at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Most of the images are drawings of his most famous artists’ books, including Babycakes, Nine Swimming Pools, Twentysix Gasoline Stations, Various Small Fires, Real Estate Opportunities, Some Los Angeles Apartments, and Crackers. Complete with a full-page interview in Dutch on the center spread and a photograph of Ruscha smoking a cigarette on the left inside cover. Layout and typography by Wim Crouwel at Total Design.
