Small square softcover 4to in wrappers printed in maroon and purple, and most pages printed in black and white, some silk screened in yellow, black, and blue, including one foldout. Also with a tissue tipped in, and a small record inside a clear sleeve laid into back cover. Unpaginated (ca. 256 pp.) Text in French. Very good with light rubbing and wear to cover extremities, a gentle crease along bottom right tip of front cover, a single reading crease along spine, and trace amounts of age toning throughout.
An artists’ book by Henri Chopin featuring writing, concrete poetry, and art, including an original poem by Pierre Albert-Birot, afterword by Arlette Albert-Birot, artwork by Raoul Hausmann, and a small record laid inside the back cover with the sound poem ‘pêche de nuit’ from 1957.
