Unpaginated. Inscribed and signed by the artist. Very good with trace amounts of rubbing covers, including a 1” (2.5cm) surface abrasion to upper right area of covers, and faint reading creases along spine, including some darkening.

Artists’ book by Emmett Williams in which he explores the mechanics of concrete poetry utilizing three-letter words mathematically arranged within the confines of a ten-by-ten grid. The poems are printed on the recto side only and can be read page by page, or in a more cinematic manner through flipping the pages. A handsomely designed and interactive book, much like Williams’ other work, published by Hansjörg Mayer. This examples includes a hand-written concrete poem and signature on the title page made up of 12 three-letter words. Item #609
