Reprenons la ponctuation a zéro (0)
Np: Collection Xeros 2600/Éditions Nepe, Nd. Saddle-stapled 4to in printed wrappers. Unpaginated (32 pp.) Text in French.
A Xerox-influenced work of concrete poetry with a title that translates into ‘Let punctuation have zero (0)’ which features enlarged details of punctuation, beginning with a period, followed by a colon, ellipse, exclamation mark, question mark, semicolon, various other punctuation symbols, and ending with a new character titled ‘point of poetry’. A handsome work of distorted letterforms and fragments delicately moving across the pages calling for the evolution of punctuation. Somewhat reminiscent of Raymond Hains’ ‘Hépérile éclaté’ published in 1953 – a favorite of ours.
Very good with light rubbing to covers, age toning along extremities, and small diagonal crease at bottom right tip. Item #61
