poster for eurovispo – 73: an exhibition of visual poetry by four europeans
Loudwater: Np, 1973. Folded poster measuring 16.5 x 23.5" (42 x 82.6 cm) printed in black and white on one side only on white stock. Very good with two hard fold lines, possibly for mailing, some handling creases, and bumps to corners. With preview information handwritten in blue ink in the lower right corner.
A striking poster made for this 1973 concrete poetry exhibition, featuring the work of Dom Sylvester Houédard (dsh), John Furnival, Donato Cinicolo, and Hansjörg Mayer. The exhibition ran July 9–29, 1973 at the Burleighfield House in Loudwater, Bucks. Our research indicates only 100 exhibition catalogues were ever published on the occasion of this exhibition, making it one of the more obscure showings of concrete poetry. No edition size has been specified for the poster. Rare and simply glorious. Item #639
