Artists’s book by G. J. de Rook featuring a collection of concrete and visual poems reflecting the political landscape of the 1970s. An eloquently designed book by one of the more conceptual Dutch concrete poets. Includes a Xeroxed folded A4 sheet by the artist featuring English translations of several Dutch words used throughout the book, alongside a request for recipients to mail back artists’ books of a similar nature to the artist in trade.
Book very good with light bumps to crown and heel of spine and trace amounts of age toning to pages. A4 sheet also very good with two hard horizontal fold lines and trace amounts age toning. Item #672
