Firenze: Edizioni Tèchne, 1970. First edition. Tall stab-stapled softcover 4to in green wrappers. With varying page sizes, some of which are mimeographed, and a few offset printed. Featuring several tipped in items, including a small silk screened and rubber stamped poster, two foldouts, an artists’ stamp, and an art exhibition price list. Unpaginated. Text mostly in Italian, some in French.

Double issue nos. 3–4 of this Italian avant-garde artists’ magazine edited by Eugenio Miccini. Tèchne was established as a response to commercial publishing with its assembled nature and featured both artistic and political contributions by a global network of artists in the late ’60s and early ’70s. This issue with contributions by experimental and concrete poets, writers, and artists from around the world, including Gianni Bertini, Giuseppe Chiari, Colletivo R, Ben Vautier, Gruppo OHO, Betto, Michele Perfetti, Franco Vaccari, Julien Blaine, Nicola Andreace, Cesare Ruffato, Lino Centi, Sarenco, Toni Zarpellon, Luca Alinari, Walter Fusi, and Eugenio Miccini among others.

Very good overall given its assembled nature, with wear along extremities, rubbing to covers, and bumps to corners. With age toning throughout on account of the paper quality, save for signatures printed on better paper. Item #752
