Amsterdam: AORTA, 1982. 22 x 32 cm (8.7 x 12.6”) tan folder with title rubber stamped at front cover containing one A5 sheet printed and black with additional rubber stamps, six black and white A4 sheets printed on recto sides, two of which have been rubber stamped, two additional A4 sheets printed on recto sides stapled at top-left corner, three folded A3 sheets Xeroxed in black, and one large 45 x 63 cm (17.7 x 24.8”) poster folded twice (likely as issued) printed in black and red. A3 sheets and poster rubber stamped on verso sides at lower right corner. Text in English and Dutch.

A collection of related ephemera for this 1982 mail art exhibition organized by AORTA which took place October 23–November 13, 1982 in Amsterdam. Includes a call for entries sheet, press release, essays on the topic of mail art by Paulo Bruscky and Gloria Picazo, exhibition program, three Xeroxed newspaper articles on the topic, and a folded poster promoting AORTA.

Folder very good with age toning, bumps to corners, and a small area of paper loss to back cover at lower-left tip. Sheets and folded poster also very good with faint handling creases and bumps to corners. Item #875
