Budapest: Artpool, 1986. Two A4 sheets folded twice, one printed in black on recto side, the other printed color on recto side, and black on verso. To which is added four square postage stamps printed in red, green, purple, and blue, and original rubber stamped mailing envelope with postage markings.

A folded piece of mail art promoting Artpool’s Ray Johnson Space, featuring four of his iconic bunnies with associated celebrity fan club titles, and the mailing addresses of Frankel Leo and Ray Johnson in their respective countries. Includes a second sheet originally issued in Artpool’s catalogue ‘WORLD ART POST’ on recto side, and information regarding the exhibition by the same name at Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest on verso side. Also includes four postage stamps of J. & G. Galántaí, the founders of Artpool.

Folded sheets and stamps with trace amounts of age toning, else near fine. Mailing envelope good only with handling creases and signs of being mailed. Item #876
