Side-stapled 4to in white wrappers printed in green, with pages mimeographed in black on alternating white and green sheets, with one page printed in green matching the covers. Unpaginated (26 pp. including covers.) To which is added one smaller sheet mimeographed on recto.

Issue 21 of Cavan McCarthy’s experimental poetry journal, of which there were 22 published. This issue with poetry by Andrew Lloyd, Gill Vickers, Gerry Gilbert, Anselm Hollo, bpNichol, Peter Finch, Mike Beacham, Dave Briers, George Dowden, and a copied letter by D. A. Levy originally published in The Buddhist 3rd Class Oracle Junk-mail Oracle. Also includes an obituary note from the editor on the untimely passing of Kenelm Cox and the suicide of d. a. levy, both of which happened in November 1968. The latter impacting McCarthy to the point that he requested George Downing write a tribute which is also included on the same page. Front cover is by Andrew Lloyd, and back cover is by George Dowden. The concrete poem on front cover by Andrew Lloyd also adorns the cover of TLALOC no. 16, albeit in a different color. Includes additional information about the press, a short biography of each contributing artist on last page, and a laid in expiry notice calling for readers to renew their subscription to the magazine noting “students, mag editors, press operators & Tlaloc contributors can claim a cut-rate subscription” at a discount.

A very good example previously folded for mailing, but stored flat. With age toning, light foxing along front and rear cover spine, and bumps to upper and lower left corners. Item #937
